Justin Rose Wins The 2018 Fort Worth Invitational

Justin Rose carried the third round lead on to a victory in the 2018 Fort Worth Invitational.

Rose was never shaken, playing in the zone and dominating the course at Colonial CC.

Rose shot a final round 64 for 20-under par total and a three stroke victory.

Brooks Koepka shots a 7-under 63 but it was not enough to catch Rose, as they matched birdie for birdie on the back nine Sunday.

The defending US Open Champions Koepka certainly looked fully recovered from his wrist injury which sidelined him and kept him out of the Masters this year. He will be a favorite headed to the US Open in two weeks, along with Rose.

“I delighted the way I played this week. I am speechless to be honest. To win on a course like Colonial I couldn’t be more proud,” said Rose after the win.

“I feel I still have an upside. There is still more work to be done,” Rose said when asked how he felt about his game headed to the upcoming US Open.

Emiliano Grillo finished third with a 64 and 16-under par.

Kevin Na shot an amazing 61, 9 under par, but it was too late and too little to catch Rose for the win. Na finished solo fourth at 14-under par.
